  We were looking for an adventure for the Canada Day long weekend and we found this ranch. - It was a great drive up through Whistler, Lilloet and Clinton. When we got to the ranch, we were surrounded by gorgeous British Columbia landscapes and were also nestled into a valley surrounded by other ranches in the distance. The views and surroundings are amazing. My husband and daughter enjoyed the horseback riding with the friendly guides! - My daughter loved wearing the cowboy boots they had available for her. We stayed in the Cowboy Inn though there are cabins on the property (they were all rented for our stay). There were calves, goats, pigs and more you could help feed too. It was an amazing experience for our daughter and we would definitely go back. They people were very friendly and made our stay comfortable. Headed home we took some back country roads towards Lilloet and got to cross the Big Bar Ferry across the mighty Fraser River and then some logging roads. I would absolutely recommend trying that drive it was an unforgettable experience. - We had an SUV for the trip but my husband was in 2 wheel drive for 99% of the drive and our station wagon would have done fine for the journey. Would highly recommend it to anyone that loves horseback riding and to any family looking for an adventure trip rather than staying at a hotel.

  Arrived at the ranch on Friday Sept 30 and stayed until Oct 2. My husband and I were there for a wedding. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the owners are very kind people. The food is amazing and so much of it!!! Thank you so much to everyone at Big bar Guest ranch, you made the wedding a great success!! FYI if you are getting married there have them make the cake....it was amazing.
